Naturopathy is a holistic health discipline that blends traditional healing methods with modern science to promote optimal well-being. Rather than just focusing on alleviating symptoms, it focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness. Naturopaths take a comprehensive approach, considering factors such as nutrition, lifestyle, genetics, and environmental influences, to create personalised treatment plans.
Naturopaths use therapies like clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle modifications, and functional testing to support the body’s natural healing processes. The aim is to restore balance, enhance vitality, and prevent chronic diseases, promoting long-term health. Whether managing specific health concerns or enhancing overall wellness, naturopathy offers an integrative path to sustainable health outcomes.

Functional medicine is a patient-centred approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease. It views the body as an interconnected system and considers how factors like genetics, environment, and lifestyle influence health. Functional medicine aims to restore balance by understanding the complex interactions between these factors.
Functional testing involves advanced diagnostic tools that assess how well different body systems are functioning. These tests can evaluate areas such as gut health, hormone balance, nutrient deficiencies, and inflammation levels, helping to guide personalised treatment plans for improved long-term health. I have practitioner access to a range of functional testing labs, including but not limited to; Co-Biome, Designs for Health, DNA Life, FXMedicine, Nutripath, RNLabs, Smart DNA and Vively Health.
-
Sálrimedi (pronounced Sahl-ri-meh-dee) is derived from Old Norse, combining "Sálr" (soul) and "Rimedi" (remedies) in Italian—reflecting my holistic, evidence-based approach to healthcare. It represents my belief that true healing comes from treating the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle.
