My responsibility is to provide accurate, ethical, and evidence-based recommendations, ensure a client-centred, structured and results-driven consultation process, and guide clients in navigating holistic health solutions with confidence and clarity. While naturopathic interventions can be highly beneficial, individual responses may vary, and I cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes.

My services are designed to complement, not replace, conventional medical care, and I strongly encourage clients to continue working with their primary healthcare provider. To ensure the most effective and safe treatment, it is essential to fully disclose any relevant medical history and current treatments during consultations.

Consumer Responsibilities (What I Expect from You)

Suitability

You will get the most out of working with me if you are:

  • Willing to learn and apply new information about health, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

  • Committed to making changes in your diet, lifestyle, and mindset for long-term health improvements.

  • Understand that health improvement takes time and are patient with the process.

  • Ready to invest both financially and personally in your health and well-being.

  • Actively involved in your wellness journey and follow through with treatment plans to the best of your ability.

  • Open to collaboration, sharing progress, concerns, and challenges along the way.

Unsuitability

This approach may not be a good fit for you if you are:

  • Unwilling to implement recommended changes or follow through with the treatment plan.

  • Seeking a quick-fix solution or immediate results, rather than focusing on a sustainable, long-term approach to health.

  • Not open to communicating transparently about your health concerns or progress.

  • Not ready to invest time, effort, or finances into improving your health.

  • Resist making changes or taking a proactive role in your health decisions.

  • Looking for a tablet or supplement to fix poor diet or lifestyle choices. While supplements can be helpful, they do not replace the importance of proper nutrition and healthy habits.

To get the most value out of working together, please ensure that you:

  • Disclose all relevant medical information, including current treatments, medications, and pre-existing health conditions to ensure your naturopathic care complements your ongoing treatments safely. This includes prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and any therapies you're undergoing with other healthcare providers.

  • Communicate openly about any physical, emotional, or mental health challenges you may be experiencing, as these can impact the effectiveness of treatments and influence recommendations.

  • Consult your primary healthcare provider (typically your GP) for any concerns regarding your health or before making significant changes to your current treatment plan. Naturopathy is intended to support and enhance conventional care, not replace it.

  • Monitor your own progress throughout the treatment process. If you notice any changes in your physical, emotional, or mental health, including unexpected side effects or worsening symptoms, please notify me immediately so we can adjust the treatment plan accordingly and avoid potential complications.

  • If you are working with multiple healthcare practitioners, it is important to coordinate care and ensure all parties are aware of your complete health treatment plan. This helps avoid conflicting treatments, potential drug interactions, and ensures that all healthcare providers are working together for your best interests.

By providing full disclosure and maintaining open communication with both me and your other healthcare providers, we can work together to ensure the safest, most effective holistic treatment. Naturopathic treatments are designed to be supportive and complementary to conventional care. Please continue regular check-ups with your primary healthcare provider to address any serious or ongoing health concerns.

Important Information

  • Contact hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday (AWST). Queries outside of these hours will be responded to during business hours.

  •  Social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook Messenger are not appropriate channels for discussing health concerns, treatment questions, or medical advice - regardless of whether you follow or know me personally.

  •  Any inquiries received via social media will be redirected to the clinic email info@salrimedihealth.com.au However, as I do not check social media regularly, I may miss messages on these platforms. Therefore, it is recommended to use the email provided above to avoid delayed responses. If you need to discuss your treatment further, you will be advised to book a follow-up consultation or call.

  • Email or phone call is the preferred method of communication for administrative queries and minor clarifications. However, for any new concerns, significant updates, or adjustments to treatment, a follow-up consultation is required.

  • A personalized treatment plan will be provided within 3-7 days after your consultation. If additional time is required due to complexity or further research, you will be notified accordingly. You are encouraged to follow your treatment plan to get the best out of my services and any supplement prescription provided.

  • Supplement prescriptions may be included as part of your treatment plan but are not included in the consultation fee. The cost of any prescribed supplements is separate and will be outlined for your consideration. Sharing your prescriptions with others is prohibited.

  •  Functional testing laboratories provide detailed instructions for sample collection to ensure accurate results. To prevent errors, inaccurate results, or the need for a retest, please carefully read and follow the instructions provided in your test kit before collecting your sample. 

Risks

While naturopathic treatments are generally safe, there are potential risks associated with any health intervention, especially if you are undergoing other medical treatments or have specific health conditions. I will always be transparent about any risks associated with a particular treatment or lifestyle intervention and will discuss these openly with you to ensure you are fully informed before proceeding. It is important to understand that changes in your health regimen, including dietary adjustments, supplementation, or lifestyle modifications, may have varying effects depending on your individual health circumstances.

As a client, it is your responsibility to actively participate in your healthcare decisions and carefully consider the potential risks and benefits before making changes. You are encouraged to ask any questions or raise concerns about treatments, and it is crucial to communicate any changes in your health status to ensure that your care plan remains safe and effective.

Limitations

While naturopathy can be an effective approach to support overall health and well-being, it is important to recognize potential limitations. Naturopathic care is focused on holistic health methods, working with the body’s natural processes, and supporting long-term wellness.

However, it may not provide immediate relief for acute medical conditions and does not substitute for medical treatment required in emergency situations. In some cases, the results of naturopathic treatments can vary, depending on an individual's health history, current physical, emotional, and mental state, lifestyle, and adherence to the recommended treatment plan.

Loss or damage

While I make all reasonable efforts to ensure that this website and my services/products meet with the highest standards of best practice, if something does go wrong that is not a direct result of my negligence, misrepresentation or deliberate fault, you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or related to my website, any products or services purchased through it, or any material posted on it, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable, and regardless of the nature of the claim.

Liability for advice

Currency

All prices on my website are in Australian dollars.

Forms of payment

Payments can be made securely online with your preferred card via Stripe through the Jane app, which ensures the highest level of protection for your financial information. Stripe's infrastructure is fully encrypted and compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Level 1, the most stringent security certification in the payment industry. This guarantees that your payment details are handled with the utmost care and security.

When making a purchase, you can securely process payments directly through the Jane app using your credit or debit card. The system employs advanced encryption protocols to safeguard your sensitive data throughout the transaction process, providing peace of mind that your payment information is protected at all times.

Security policy

The Jane app implements a comprehensive set of security features to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your personal and payment information. Payments are securely processed through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, guaranteeing the highest standard of data protection. Jane uses AES-256 encryption to protect all sensitive data, both in transit and at rest. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for user accounts, adding an additional layer of security.

Furthermore, Jane’s systems are continuously monitored for potential security vulnerabilities, and regular security audits are conducted to maintain compliance with industry standards. Payment terms

Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, all bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation. If alternative payment arrangements are necessary, please contact us prior to booking to discuss and confirm the terms. We reserve the right to cancel any appointments that are not paid for at the time of booking.

Functional testing may be recommended or requested by you and will be added as a new purchase to the billing section of your account on the Jane app. Payment for functional testing must be made in full within 3 days. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the testing will not be ordered, which may delay timeframes for receiving results and implementing treatment.

eBooks and resources requiring payment are to be paid in full at the point of purchase before they are emailed. Please note eBooks and resources once provided are non-refundable.

Payment plans

Payment plans are provided for your convenience, allowing you to spread the cost over time. However, you remain fully responsible for paying the total amount, even if you decide to cancel your purchase, as the work has already been completed. It is your responsibility to ensure that funds are available to make payment instalments on time.

Debt collection

You agree to pay any costs I reasonably incur in chasing overdue payments, including administrative fees, debt recovery fees and legal fees.

Refund Policy

Change of Mind

I do not offer a refund if you change your mind, so you are encouraged to consider carefully whether a purchase is right for you before you make your payment.

Consultation Services

If a consultation is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, a full refund or credit for a future booking will be provided. If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a partial refund may be granted, deducting the applicable cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for missed appointments or services already rendered. Please refer to my cancellation policy for more information.

Order Fulfillment Policy

Order fulfillment is managed by each supplement distributor. For specific policies, including processing times and shipping details, please refer to the distributor’s website.

Replacement Products

I am not responsible for replacing products that were not purchased directly through me. Please review the terms and conditions of the retailer where the product was purchased. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, notify me immediately so I can assist in contacting the supplement distributor on your behalf to help resolve the issue.

Consumer Guarantees – Minor & Major Problems

At Sálrimedi Holistic Health, we adhere to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees for products and services purchased in Australia. These guarantees ensure that products are of acceptable quality, match their description, and are fit for their intended purpose. If a product does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

Minor Problems

A minor problem is an issue that can be easily fixed within a reasonable timeframe. In such cases, the supplier or manufacturer has the right to choose whether to offer a repair, replacement, or refund. If a minor issue arises with a product you purchased through me, I will liaise with the supplement distributor on your behalf to arrange an appropriate resolution.

Major Problems

A major problem occurs when:

  • The product has a serious defect that cannot be repaired, or repairs would take an unreasonable amount of time.

  • The product is unsafe to use.

  • It is significantly different from its description or what was advertised.

  • It is not fit for its intended purpose and cannot be easily fixed.

If a product has a major issue, you are entitled to choose between a full refund or a replacement. If you prefer to keep the product, you may also request compensation for any loss of value.

How to Report an Issue

If you experience any issues with a product, please notify me as soon as possible so I can assist in contacting the supplement distributor and help facilitate a resolution. Ensure you provide details of the issue along with any relevant photos or documentation.

These rights are protected under the Australian Consumer Law and apply in addition to any manufacturer warranties. If you have any questions regarding your consumer rights, please refer to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) website or contact me for assistance.

Limitation of liability

I take my obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and will do my best to address any issues that arise. However, even if there is a major problem, my liability is strictly limited to:

  • Replacing the goods or providing the services again; or

  • If I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, refunding the full amount that you have paid to me.

Invitation to discuss problem

If you feel that there is any problem with my services or your purchase, please let me know within 7 days. I am keen to understand what has gone wrong if you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.

Delivery and Shipping Delivery

If anything is unclear or if you experience an unexpected delay in receiving an order, please reach out to me so I can assist in providing clarification and liaising with the supplement distributor to resolve the issue.

Shipping

Shipping times and costs are determined by the supplement distributor or functional testing laboratory and may vary depending on location and availability. Once your order has been processed, you will receive tracking details to monitor the delivery status. If your order is lost, damaged in transit, or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please read the shipping information from relevant providers, contact them via customer support and notify me if needed so I can help resolve the matter.

Negotiation

If you have any concerns, issues or complaint arising out of your use of this website, my products or services, or these terms and conditions, you agree to communicate with me with the intention of making a genuine effort to seek a win/win solution and trying to resolve the dispute in good faith through negotiation and discussion. Mediation

If there is a problem, both parties agree to engage in good faith discussions to reach a mutually beneficial resolution. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, both parties agree to participate in mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods before pursuing litigation, which will be considered a last resort. Mediation costs will be shared equally.

A mediator will be appointed by mutual agreement. If an agreement is not reached within 14 days of the negotiation period ending, I will provide at least two appropriately qualified, neutral mediators (having confirmed their availability), and the other party must select one within 48 hours of receiving the nominations. Legal proceedings must not commence unless, in the opinion of the independent mediator, all reasonable negotiation and mediation efforts have been exhausted.

Jurisdiction

These Website Terms & Conditions are subject to the governing law of Western Australia. Regardless of where you live in the world, you irrevocably agree that if the dispute resolution processes fail, the courts of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
